Orvis has been established since 1856 and was started in the USA by Charles F. Orvis, and now has 23 stores across the UK. They are known worldwide for their high quality fly fishing equipment; however they also sell a huge range of men’s and ladies wear; Orvis has been in Tenterden since 2002, previously in the High street, now in a new larger store located in West Cross.

Quality casual brands

The store in West Cross also stocks practical brands such as Barbour, Musto and Hunter, this along with their working Dog, shooting department, makes the store a one stop shop for your traditional country lifestyle.

Fly Fishing

Ian Brett is the Fishing Manager who is more than happy to advise beginners entering the world of fly fishing, also Ian and Richard regularly run "Learn about Fly Fishing" courses which cover the fundamentals of fly fishing and casting.
