Making Tenterden a Great Place to Live and Work
The Chamber of Commerce and the Tenterden Town Council both play an integral part in the running of the town and some of their events include the late night shopping Christmas event and the Christmas lights and also the very successful visit of the Tour de France in 2007.

Tenterden Club
The town has its own Tenterden Club providing a centre for relaxed leisure. The Club, in Church Road, Tenterden, has two downstairs bars, two full sized snooker tables, and a large dance hall, stage and bar upstairs. The Tenterden Club regularly holds events and many clubs and societies meet there including Tenterden Rotary Club, Tenterden Bridge Club and Tenara (Tenterden Active Retirement Association). The large dance hall and bar upstairs are available to hire.
