Welcome to Tenterden Gateway
Uniting your services
Gateway brings together a wide range of council and other services. It offers a modern and accessible library, Post Office and Tourist Information. The Gateway offers sessions from agencies such as Hi Kent and Kent’s Registration Service, so that people can register births and deaths locally. There is a self service touch screen kiosk that offers advice on housing, benefits and finding jobs in the area. Use our internal phone to all Ashford Borough Council, Kent County Council or the Tourist Information Centre. There is one-hour free internet access, photocopying and faxing facilities (send and receive faxes). Children are welcome to story time every Thursday.
Call in or telephone 03000 41 41 41 for further information. We look forward to hearing from you.

The Tenterden Gateway has a modern well equipped Changing Place that allows access for people with complex physical needs, their carers and families. Standard disabled toilets do not meet the needs of all people with a disability – or their carers.
People with profound and multiple learning disabilities, as well as other serious impairments such as spinal injuries, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis or an acquired brain injury, often need extra facilities to allow them to use the toilets comfortably. Changing Places are different to standard disabled toilets with extra features and more space to meet these needs.
