The Tenterden Lions Club have produced an extremely useful Guide for the Disabled. The guide shows which shops and businesses in Tenterden and St Michaels have disabled access or have been adapted to be more friendly to the disabled visitor - wheelchair or scooter access, the number of entrance steps, a ramp, entrance bell, internal steps, hearing loops and disabled toilets.
