Set in a 14thC timber framed Wealden Hall House, the Lemon Tree offers the best of a traditional Cafe, Tea Room and Restaurant. Cakes and pastries are home made, scones are frshly made each morning and are served with award winning strawberry preserve. As members of Produced in Kent as much produce as possible is locally sourced in the traditional English menu. In the summer why not try delicious Salmon and Crab fishcakes while in winter our Steak and Ale pie is fabulous. Open 7 days a week for breakfast coffee light and full lunches and afternoon teas

The Bull Inn is an ancient inn dating back to 1645. The stables were used as a prison and the local home guard trained here during the Second World War.
 
The pub is conveniently situated on the A28 between Ashford and Tenterden in the typical Kentish village of Bethersden. A Shepherd Neame pub.

It has comfortable and well presented bar, with a wealth of old beams, an inviting inglenook fireplace and huge sofas to relax in. Board games are available to entertain both kids and adults.
 
There is a large garden, a large patio area and a duck pond – plenty of space for children to play - and ample car parking space.
 
The restaurant is open seven days a week, serving good, hearty traditional fare, such as bangers and mash, steaks and curry of the day.  Plus sandwiches, baked potatoes and a daily changing specials board and a children's menu. Delicious homemade desserts including crumbles, bread-and-butter pudding and "lumpy bumpy cake"

The Sunday Lunch Special
In addition to these two menus we have a special Sunday Lunch menu which changes weekly. The Sunday Lunch Menu is published weekly on the hotel website and can be accessed from the front page of the website. The Sunday Lunch is quite extraordinary in both choice and portion size and the quality of the food is exceptional. For Sunday Lunches please book to avoid disappointment.

The restaurant, serving quality fresh food sourced from the best suppliers caters for up to 40 diners. While the dining experience is private you will notice that the pub and restaurant are buzzing with activity even during the week, so it is always a good idea to book ahead.
