Tenterden From town centre follow sign posts to Tenterden,
M20 At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A292 (signposted Lenham,
Tenterden, M20) At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A28 (signposted
Tenterden, Great Chart) At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A28
(signposted Tenterden) At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A28 Total
time 25 minutes
Directions from Maidstone to Tenterden From
the town centre follow signs to the A229 Turn right onto the A229 At
traffic signals turn right onto Palace Avenue At traffic signals turn right
onto Lower Stone Street At traffic signals continue forward (signposted
Hastings) Continue forward onto the A274 Turn left onto the
A274 Continue forward onto the A262 Turn right onto the A28 Total time
35 minutes
Directions from Hastings to Ashford From the
town centre after the Shell garage bear left Bear right At the traffic
signals continue forward Turn right onto Sedlescombe Road North At the
roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A21 (signposted London, Sevenoaks,
Ashford) At mini roundabout continue forward onto A21 At mini roundabout
continue forward onto A21 Turn right onto the A28 At T junction bear left
onto the A268 (signposted Tenterden, Ashford) Turn right onto the A28
(signposted Tenterden, Ashford) Total time 36 minutes |

Travelling to Tenterden by BUS and
TRAIN
By Bus: Tenterden is easily accessible by
public transport from many of the local towns. Bus companies, Stagecoach and
Arriva, run a variety of hourly buses during the day to Tenterden.
 The 400 service run by Stagecoach travels between

number of bus routes to and from Tenterden: Service 12 from Maidstone to
Tenterden (stops at Biddenden train station) Service 293 from Wittersham to

Rail: The nearest main line train
station to Tenterden is Headcorn. On your arrival to the station, you will need
to get the number 12 Arriva bus service, which will take you to the centre of
