Tentertainment Music Festival, Tenterden

Tenterden's fabulous free family music festival is bigger, better and back for 2011! Make sure you get the dates in your diary and don't miss this brilliant event. Enjoy an unbeatable family day out in one of Kent's most beautiful towns.

Saturday 2 July 11am-8pm
Sunday 3 July 11am-6pm

Last year's Festival attracted about 10,000 visitors and this year's three day event is expected to attract even more. Tentertainment is a unique mix of great live music, great local food and above all great family fun and entertainment.

Sunday at the Homewood Stage

11 – 11.30am Showstoppers: A theatre company based at Homewood School for 8 -18 year olds, focusing on West End classics and big show numbers.
11.30 – 12pm Grease and Acoustic music groups: Exerts of Grease taken from the recent sell-out show at Homewood, supported by other acoustic music performances.
12 – 12.30pm Music (acoustic and instrumental ensembles) A selection of newly devised and covered pieces of music and songs from a range of music students.
12.30 – 1pm Drama – Robin Hood (Act 1) Exerts from the traditional tale of Robin Hood modernised to a pantomime favourite.
1 – 1.30pm Dance (InToShift and Shift Dance Companies)
1.30 – 2pm Sax group and singers A variety of recognisable songs performed by music students.
2 – 2.30pm Robin Hood (Act 2)
2.30 – 3pm Dance (InToShift, Shift Dance Companies and ANYC)
3.30 – 4pm Variety!

A bit about Tentertainment – please give generously

This event does receive some financial support, however the only way the festival can go ahead is by volunteers doing all the legwork and from you buying food & drink from the stalls and dropping money into those buckets.

So please make full use of the catering facilities – and do what you can for the bucket percussion section! It means we’ll get to have this much fun again next year
